Learning objective:

Some of your customers may have purchased a multi-session class pass online through Groupon. When they do this follow these steps to create the customer in MINDBODY and assign the pricing option.

Step 1: Create New Student

The first step in the process is to create the customer as a brand new customer in MINDBODY

  1. Click inside the box labeled Search for or jump to a client in the upper left corner of any MINDBODY page.
  2. Click + Add new client
  3. Add all applicable profile information
  4. Click Create

Step 2: Sell Groupon Pricing Option

  1. Go to the Retail tab
  2. Search for and select the customer
  3. Select the Services ribbon on the Add Item section of the page
  4. In the Select Service drop-down menu choose First Class
  5. In the Item Name drop-down menu choose the appropriate option. (ie. 'G10 - Groupon)
  6. Click Add Item
  7. Select Payment Method: Comp/Guest
  8. Click Save No Receipt

Step 3: Assign Client Type

  1. Search for and select the customer from the upper left corner or the Clients page
  2. Go to the customer's Profile page
  3. Click the Client Types drop down
  4. Click Assign
  5. Click the checkbox next to the option 'ILKB Registration'
  6. Click Update Client Types

    7. This customer may now begin attending iLKB Class. Sign them up for their first session.
