Learning objective:

You will learn the steps of creating a new student and signing them up for their First Class.

For anyone who calls the studio directly or walks in without having previously interacted with our ads/ offers, you will eventually need to collect all their contact information before the call is over as well as which offer they purchased. Use this information to create the new student’s profile and add the new student’s Trial Offer in the Retail Point of Sale.

Step 1: Creating new student

  1. Click inside the Search for or jump to a client box directly under the iLoveKickboxing logo in the upper right corner of the site.

  1. Add the new student’s details
  2. Click More
  3. Add all additional information available about the student
  4. Click Create

Step 2: Add the Web Special

  1. Go to the Retail tab.
  2. Search for and select the new student or click the new student’s name to the right of the search box.

  1. Go to the Services tab.
  2. Select Service First Class
  3. Select the Item Name which corresponds to the Deal Site Offer the new student purchased. Example below:
    • Web Trial 3 (W3)
    • Web Trial 5 (W5)
  4. Click Add Item

  1. Click Comp/Guest tab.

  1. Click Save No Receipt tab.

Step 3: Sign student up for First Class

  1. Go to the First Class tab.
  2. Locate the time and date the student would like to attend
  3. Click Sign In (X/2)
    • X indicates the amount of students already signed up for that class (ie. Sign In (1/2) indicates of the capacity of 2 people 1 student has already signed up for that class)

  1. Search for and select the new student. Confirm you see client on class roster.
