Account management
*Logging in to the app*
Clients should log in to your branded mobile app using their Mindbody account login. If they've never used your app, or the Mindbody app, a Mindbody login will be created for them when they log in for the first time with their consumer mode credentials. Once a Mindbody login is created, it can be used both on the app and when accessing your site through a desktop computer.
Trouble logging in? Try resetting the password within the app or from account.mindbodyonline.com—we've found this remedies the vast majority of log in issues.
*Editing profile information*
Your branded mobile app allows your clients to edit their own profiles from the app. This profile information is instantly updated in both the app and the Client Info screen in your Mindbody software.
*Resetting a password*
Clients who need to change a password, or simply can't recall it, can request a password reset email from the Log In screen on your branded mobile app. It is recommended that clients always reset their own passwords directly from the app or through https://account.mindbodyonline.com/login.
*Adding and updating a credit card*
Clients can add a stored card number from the My Account screen within the app and are not permitted to edit it afterward. If the client does not have a stored card on file with your business and adds one to the app, then it will be transferred to the client account in your Mindbody software. Once added to the client profile, this stored card can only be removed or changed by your business.
ACH, PAP, and other forms of direct debit are not supported at this time.
Booking services
*Buying a pass*
Your branded mobile app allows your clients to use the existing passes they've purchased from your business. They can also buy a pass when booking, or à la carte from the Buy section of the app.
*Viewing remaining visits*
Active and expired passes can both be viewed from the client profile screen in the app.
*Reserving a class, enrollment, or appointment*
Your clients can reserve a class by selecting the Book tab from the main menu. Registration windows, cancellation windows, and other booking rules all match what has been configured in your site.
*Cancelling a reservation*
Reservations are cancelled from the Profile section of the main menu. The cancellation windows and policies in the app are identical to those used in your Mindbody software.
