Mindbody allows you to enter and display your policies to clients along their journey with your business. The following six policies are available in your software:

Liability Waiver

  • This is your businesses’ liability release waiver. A liability waiver is an essential document between your business and any person who participates in an activity with you, acknowledging any risks and protects your business in legal matters.
  • When enabled all clients will be required to agree to your Liability Waiver when creating an account.

Cancellation Policy

  • A cancellation policy can help in reducing the number of no-shows and last-minute cancellations. Here you will want to clearly state the time threshold for cancellations and any penalties or fines for cancelling within those thresholds. Your cancellation windows and scheduling windows should follow your cancellation policy.
  • Your cancellation policy will show on the My Schedule screen in consumer mode, as well as under the class description in the Mindbody App.

Purchase Policy

  • Use this section to include any information that a client should be made aware of prior to completing their purchase with your business.
  • This will show in the check out/place order screen of consumer mode.

Terms & Conditions

  • Here you can specify specific your terms and conditions between you, the seller, and your customers, that apply to their purchases such as un-used sessions cannot be transferred to another client.
  • This will show in the check out/place order screen of consumer mode.

Return/Refund Text

  • Your refund policy should clearly explain any restrictions or time limits on when a client can initiate a refund with your business. Make sure to check any local guidelines that may impact your return policy.
  • This will show in the check out/place order screen of consumer mode.

Privacy Policy

  • Your privacy policy should disclose how your business gathers, uses, discloses, and manages your client's data. Make sure to check any local guidelines regarding client data.
  • This will show in the check out/place order screen of consumer mode.
